Rev. Istifanus Bahago (center) the new
CRCN Missions Department Director

The leadership of the CRCN has chosen the former
President of the CRCN, Rev. Istifanus B. Bahago,
as the new Director of the Missions Department.
Rev. Bahago served for many years as a professor
and principal of Veenstra Theological Seminary
before his election as the CRCN President, a
position he held from 2001 to 2011. During his
tenure as President, the missions outreach of the
CRCN expanded into many new areas of Nigeria as
well as the Republic of Niger, Sierra Leone and
Kenya. Rev. Bahago comes into this position with
many years of experience in church leadership and a
tremendous zeal for mission outreach. The
Supervisor of the Missions Department, Rev.
Dawuda Kure, has also been replaced by Rev.
Gabriel Gamsari. The Synod of CRCN also
selected new board members for the department.
